I've tried over 200 different soft serves while traveling all over Japan and this is easily one of the top 5. I was in Uji, Kyoto the other day and while their matcha was indeed darker, their ice cream texture was icy/grainy. This had a good balance of flavor and texture. Not to mention, it was the first & only store I noticed that had individually wrapped cones before serving to keep them fresh. Wasteful? Yea, but the crispiest waffle cone I've ever had. 430 yen cash only

This shop’s macha ice cream are made from Onocha, which is local tea of Yamaguchi prefecture. The flavor is super nice and the customer service was great as well. If you want to try authentic local Matcha, highly recommend! Card isn’t available.Cash and Paypay are available.
